Article: Sequel Squealers

If you read my review of The Whole Ten Yards the you know I have a new Sequel rule. The rule is that for me to watch a sequel it has to have really strong word of mouth. I need to hear some people say that it was "better than the original" or I am not watching it. I have been burned too many times and life is too short.

So to be fair I am going to start a list of good sequels. It may be a short list but I will consider suggestions form readers to add to my list. Some movies I don't really consider to be sequels as much as they are part of a series. LOTR, James Bond etc. So I won't list those. But I will list some movies that are at least a decent movie in their own right. Movies that entertain and aren't a complete waste of time. I am tempted to do a list of bad sequels but why point out the obvious.

So some good sequels:

Toy Story 2

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me

Terminator 2: Judgement Day

hmmm, pretty short list. But that is the point really. If you can think of some good ones go ahead and send them in.
